Our Team

Dr. Brogan was born and raised in Michigan City, Indiana.  She earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Notre Dame where she met and later married her husband, Jack.  She attended medical school at Loyola Stritch School of Medicine. Dr. Brogan completed her internship and residency at Northwestern University Children’s Memorial Hospital where she received several awards.  She worked as a hospitalist for Children’s Memorial and Highland Park Hospital before joining Associated Pediatricians in 1998.  She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatrics.  She is actively involved in medical education, holding the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor at Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine.  She instructed residents at Lurie Children’s Hospital for 25 years. She is also ranked at Indiana University School of Medicine as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics where she has lectured in the second year curriculum. She has taught Pediatric Advanced Life Support at Porter Hospital, and was on the Editorial Board of the Journal, Child’s Doctor. Dr. Brogan continues to participate in clinical research with the Private Practice Research Group. She has turned her efforts more recently to active involvement in local education of future medical professionals and improving pediatric health in Porter County. 

Dr. Brogan and her husband have three children and one grandson. She enjoys the outdoors-especially National Parks, super fun YMCA classes, her church community, and of course, spending time with her awesome family.
