Our Team

Dr. Bukata was born in Argentina and moved with his family to Indiana when he was two years old.  In 1992, he graduated Valedictorian from Wabash College.  He attended Indiana University School of Medicine and was elected to the medical honors fraternity Alpha Omega Alpha.  After receiving his medical degree in 1996, he began pediatric residency at Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis.  During his training, he spent time with Associated Pediatricians in the Valparaiso and Portage offices.  He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatrics.  

In 1995, Dr. Bukata married Christine, his high school sweetheart.  Christine was raised in Munster, Indiana and is a graduate of Valparaiso University.  Dr. Bukata and his wife have two sons and a daughter.  He enjoys spending time with his family, playing soccer and watching Star Trek and Star Wars.  He is fluent in both English and Spanish.  Dr. Bukata joined Associated Pediatricians in 1999.
